Workshop Details
This is a 5 day gentle journey. It is designed to encourage you deeper into the unknown places within yourself. Through the use of art materials (no art experience necessary) and somatic (body) awareness exercises you will connect to parts of yourself that you may have been previously disconnected from, or unaware of. The discovery process is often surprising and always important.

Our lives are fast paced and most of us have never been encouraged to "check in" with ourselves. This can lead to increased, accumulated stress which has been shown to eat away at our sense of well-being, as well as, the joy in our lives. In this workshop we share with you an opportunity to experience new ways of "checking in" therefore increasing your sense of health, joy and peace.

The workshop is inspired by our work with Peter London. He is an author, teacher and art therapist who has shared his process which he once called “Drawing from Within” and now has workshops called “Drawing Closer to Nature”. He is the author of two books by the same titles. Our experiences with Peter have been simply amazing and therefore we feel compelled to share our interpretation of these experiences.

For more info on Peter London please go to his website.

Schedule Information
On Monday, the sessions will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m. so come to register and explore Walnut Hill from 9:30 on.

Tuesday through Friday we will begin at 9 and although you will be invited to do extended work in the evening, the afternoon sessions will end between 4:30 and 5:30. On Friday we will make every attempt to end by 4:00 p.m.

Given the organic nature of the workshop times are flexible. Each individual is welcomed to explore and play as long as they wish. Past participants have found that working into the night was a vital part of their experience. They made connections with other participants and themselves that only that setting can provide.  Please view the schedule loosely and come prepared to ride the workshop with openness and flexibility...it is in any given moment that magic happens.

We highly encourage you to stay at Walnut Hill to give yourself the fullest experience possible.
