Walnut HillA Gentle Journey
Within...

The Mandala – Mask-making workshop, led by the talented artists and superb teachers Sally Allen and Beth Powers, is an experience I won’t soon forget. The workshop is great fun, but it’s also a unique opportunity for peaceful contemplation and self-exploration in a charming setting. Days later I still feel mentally and physically refreshed, and smile every time I recall the gentle, thoughtful way Allen and Power guided us through the process.

There really is something extraordinary about having a mask made of your face and then, in a warm, bright environment filled with beautiful music, taking a whole day to paint or decorate it. At the very least, it’s tremendously relaxing and enjoyable. For me, it was also surprisingly thought-provoking and somehow quite moving. Delightful and memorable – don’t miss this!

It was amazing how well the somatic and art process encounters complimented each other to gently lead me through places inside I'd previously hit a wall with. Weeks after the workshop, I am still gleaning insight from my paintings!
Beth and Sally created an atmosphere of compassion, acceptance, safety and fun to guide this journey. I left feeling insight-full and burden-less.

I ponder the power of our gentle journey daily…it truly was transformative... Have worked on a few more creations and feel as if autumn will be a rich time.
…I think there just aren’t words to say all that it meant to me. I treasure the deep love and acceptance that you both [Sally and Beth] emanated, while creating a truly safe haven for whatever arose. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
